Video Captions for enhanced Google/Youtube rank?

Looking for some help. I think video captions are spidered as a seperate criteria for rank in search engines...Title, description, tags, and possibly captions. Therefore, could I upload a vid to youtube, caption it, use an application to pull it back out , and then resubmit it with video posting software for better rankings? I know I could buy caption hardware/software or pay someone to do it, but I was wondering if the results would be the same with this technique... Thanks
