Does anyone know if Articlesbase gives link juice? They say in their TOS that all links have nofollow tags, but my articles are showing up in Webmaster Tools. Is Google talking out of two sides of their mouth?

Probably, but an added benefit of ArticlesBase compared to Ezines is that you are much more likely to get your articles published by autoblogs. I've gotten quite a few really good backlinks that send traffic this way.

I don't think a link from an article directory counts for much on it's own.

I don't think it is NOFOLLOW, when I checked the source code of a published article, there is NO MORE NOFOLLOW in the tag.

We can get our articles being published as soon as it is being posted (after you have about 10 or more articles in the articlebase).

The links in the article itself is a nofollow tag in articlesbase.com only.. However, when the article is published in a different platform aside from articlesbase, the links become dofollow when the site allows it..

I don't know much as to if AB gives a fair amount of "link juice" but I do know, like a above poster said, they give good traffic just from there site. If you're one that post the same article to multiple directories, I have also become aware that the article when/if it becomes ranked for its specific keyword, it is the AB article and not your other top tier directories (Ezine,Buzzle,Go....)

One thing I've seen that articlebase is too good for sending good amount of traffic to your site. If you post unique and interesting article then you can expect that advantage. Also articles at articlebase get cached quickly by Google.

My articlebase articles were nofollow as of 5 minutes ago:rolleyes:

Then again, that does not mean that "no follow" actually means no follow. Google might be just full of BS.

Article Base articles do get indexed by Google. Also, a good trick is that WP Direct uses Article Base for its articles, so if you submit there, you have a huge chance of getting indexed on others sites on other servers which seems to help me.

I saw them in webmaster tool too lately and I was surprised. Also, I do have lots of backlinks from blogs as they pick up the articles, however most are no follow.
