Different results with same proven methods

OK well I'm not exactly new to all of this and have done well in the past with a few of my sites. I'm currently experiencing that my new sites are not coming close to ranking well as I've been use to using the same proven methods. Has anyone else experienced what I'm describing here?

Basically for new sites, I list them on all the map sites, business sites, add roughly 200-300 links from high PR site forums, add 10 articles from top sites, bookmark and rss feed everything. My 3 newer sites all have actually dropped in rankings over the last 3 months instead of improved. I know my on page SEO is perfect and I don't share my back links with other domains meaning I create one profile per site to back link to. Any ideas of what's going on here? Again this has happened over a 3 month time and I'm not new to SEO at all.

  • I might have to say google has either caught you which i dont think.

Hmmm maybe you are targeting keywords other people are also competing against. That is what I think!
  • Anyone else with suggestions here? Targeting tough keywords is what I do for all of my clients and have never had a problem until recently.
