JULIE BENZ LEAVING DEXTER

Spammers have jumped all over this phrase and Google is rewarding them with top results.

Spammers can sometimes get top results quickly but it is almost always short lived...
No system is perfect but Google is at the top of the list when it comes to search engine
quality. I'm not a Google fan boy, just look at the crap that's listed in the other engines,
    it's no contest.

Dexter is the Showtime show about a guy who kills bad people. You know, a good serial killer.

I think we need to take a long term view of search, no matter the company you can always get some strange results, G seems the best about recognizing them and filtering them out. It is one of the problems with their preference for new content though.

Spam has been around since 1937. Some people just love it! It isn't going anywhere ever. You can learn more about Spam here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_(food)

  • The point was Googles jump into real time search is being exploited over and over. Lots of "fixing" to do.

And the Episode aired on Sunday night so it is not a spoiler.

Jayson L - nice reply. Spam before the Internet was created. And a Wiki Reference. Good research. Seriously. You are a comic genius and I felt the need to point that out in the same way you felt to be extra clever.

Honestly I would say that I was extra bored this afternoon is more like it, but I couldn't agree more. It seems as though any topic nowdays is spammed to death. Hopefully slow and steady will win the race for me!

The real time results are still a work in progress.

Google still has some quality control to do, one of the keywords I compete in has 2 of the top 20 sites that haven't been updated in years and another is just an empty page.
