What's Indexing and What's Not?

I know Google index really fast and usually I have no issues. This week is test week to find out what's indexing and what's not. So far I've found much of the Web 2.0 isn't indexing fast enough for me while some of it is not idexing at all.

Anyone got some tips for Web 2.0 that's indexing faster than the rest?

Thanks.

  • Hi Intrepreneur,

    Your backlinks need backlinks!

It's more of a question of where you are placing your backlinks. The more backlinks you get from reputable sources the quicker you are likely to get indexed.

As far as which Web 2.0 property tends to get your pages indexed the quickest it seems nothing rivals the power of Twitter these days. Google seems to index from twitter in real-time these days. You could potentially see traffic arrive to your website within seconds of posting a link on Twitter.

See this link to see how Google uses this near real-time indexing:

  • I agree with dburk, web 2.0 is not what it used to be. If you just use web 2.0 sites like squidoo & hubpages, be prepared to wait a week to get indexed.
