Market Samuri Matrix Question....is this worth it?

Hey there fellow warriors....I'm confused a bit on MS matrix....would it be wise to go after this keyword if the payout was $5 per click?

Also I'm a bit confused because it looks like even though the #8 spot has more backlinks than the #1 spot they are still ranked lower....does having the keyword in title really matter THAT much?

Thanks

That is very doable. Before you proceed do a PR and backlink analysis on the #1, #3, and #8 results and see what they PR spread is and the anchor text quality. If it is dominated by low PR links with no anchor text then I would proceed.

There is a good post elsewhere on the forum about SEO Spyglass. Download that if you want a more thorough backlink analysis - it will give you IP spread, and if the links are do or nofollow.

Would have to know the monthly exact search volume. In any event, it looks like only that one search listing is the main site/domain. Every other search result is an internal page with "relatively" few backlinks.

Also, did you actaully look at the 600+ backlinks for that one site? Often time they will be junkie 2way links, link exchanges, etc., or 90% of them will all be from the one or only a handful of domains. Basically you need to actually analyze the backlinks instead of just relying on the number.

Domain age plus the quality of their backlinks could be why the #1 listing is still #1.

Pull them up in the "SEO Competition" tab and take a look at their links. You might be able to follow their lead and copy their link strategies.

I agree about the age item...I saw a huge bump once my domain reached three years of age.

On my sites with Adsense, I seem to get a higher EPC on my clicks than with those domains that are new. I have no data on anything other than .com domains, but overall it seems that age does matter.
