Hi i recently set up a new campaign and I have been slapped with a QS of 2 so my ads are basically not getting shown. I have a landing page with good content with links to:

About us
contact us
terms of use
privacy policy
blog- wordpress direct
wikipedia

On page optimised with tite, meta description and meta keywords H1 tags. So basically I have done verything I know of to get a good QS yet I have been slapped. I only have 4 keywords all in the relationship nche and get boyfriend back specifically. All ads have the keyword in them or at least mention get boyfriend back.

The only thing I can think of that might effect it is my robot.txt file has excluded my landing page and I dont have any links into the page. The only thing I can think of is that I am linking out to other pages on my domain but I dont have any links back so perhaps google is crawling my landing page and cant find a way back once it follows the links so in its eyes its poor navigation.

What do you think? I am comlletely new to PPC but this is the only thing I can think of. Do you think i would be better taking the robot.txt file out or allowing the page to get crawled and just linking to and from my landing page discretely to visitors?

Thanks for any help in advance

Craig

Stop concentrating on your landing page and instead put your efforts into your campaign. Use only relevant keywords and create relevant ads that get higher click rates. The main components of QS are click rate and keyword relevancy.
