Is It Possible To Rank A Squeeze Page?

All of the sites that I have indexed/ranked so far have been multi-paged landers on a topic, but I was wondering....

If I have a squeeze page followed by a one time offer of a vendor's product) can I get that single-page squeeze page to rank at all? What do I need to do in terms of content on this page?

Squeeze Pages rank, I believe the sale page for your optin is considered content. Just make sure to sprinkle in your key phrases. Also you can add a blog to your site for more content.

if the squeeze page is a stand-alone....

it's gonna be tough.

google sees it as a poor user experience, and the single page is deemed "thin"...

but if it is a page added to an existing website - you can piggy-back on the content of the rest of the site....

as long as you have some relevant keywords in there, and your title tags are in place....you will need a reasonable amount of copy to add substance.

what you could do it to write a "longer pitch" - with two or three op-in boxes throughout, for those who are ready earlier (but keep the length for google).

I think so.. If you just fill the page with optimized content and do proper back linking to it, then ranking it would be like ranking an ordinary web page..

  You mean, you want the OTO to be indexed? I believe it will not be advisable because normally, OTO is seen once a person sign up, right? So it will not be logical to see the OTO page without signing up.
