I have a book that's an SEO Crash Course but also covers several ways to SEO blogs. If you want that PM me, don't want to promote, it's against the rules. It's FREE and I have other FREE reports specifically for blogs.

There is no need to read any ebook etc.
The basic things you need are

1:- Write quality content in your Blog
2:- Join Forums and post useful information (add link in signature)
3:- Submit your blog to SEO friendly Directories
4:- Exchange Links with bloggers (Only with related Blogs)
5:- Submit your blog to Social Bookmarking websites

    And that's all.

Most are fine and can get by with minor tweaks if any. The big thing onsite wise is to keep your content close to the surface so to speak.

Interlink your pages. When that post you are making today mentions anything in a post you did last year, link it.

Create your own static link nav menu with a nice keyword link to your important posts. Some people use labels for this. It works well if you use keywords for the label and only use one lable per page.

Don't be afraid to throw up a best of or most read post. On it would appear 10 -15 previous posts linked by keyword. You just want the search engines to see those posts again. Plus, your readers get an easy to use guide to content they may not have seen.

So there is a little extra work that you do with blogger or a blog in general to keep content fresher in the search engines compared to a properly organized static site, but you benefit from an easy to use CMS a built in RSS feed, and pinging. You can do those things with a static site, but it takes a bit more work initially to implement.

Also a great free resource that is worth every minute you spend reading is Griz's site. He isn't trying to sell you shovels and actually has good info.

No worries. The things I said will become clear as you use blogspot. Griz covers it as well.

BTW, be sure to read the comments. Griz replies to most every person's question. Lots of gems in there.

Well then you need to get crackin on your research. Type your questions into Google and read, read, read. Or read the threads here. No single thing is going to spell it all out for you, no matter how much you spend on a book. You just need to find MANY different sources, then start working. Otherwise you won't even know if what one person says is really the best thing to do.

Blogspot comes SEO's right out of the box, and has
the big G behind it. Nothing better. Just get backlinks
and make good, frequent posts, and voila!
