What happens if I move my site to a different hosting account, does it get de-indexed and also does it lose its rankings. Also will indexing and and my site rankings be affected if I do a new installation to my blog?

No absolutely not. You will point your nameservers to the new host and it could take them up to 24 hrs to resolve once you do that, but you do not get deindexed and lose anything.

Most nameservers even changed before 24 hours. I wouldn't worry about getting deindexed.

Moving your site to a new web host will not affect indexing of your site. I have done it 4 months back and found no change in the traffic from search engines.

Moving servers will change the ip, and could slow down indexing for some SE's.

Never saw any decrease in rank or traffic tho - and a server upgrade from a lousy host will help to increase traffic most times.

I've changed hosts many times, it does not affect indexing or ranking. Of course, that's assuming you have your own domain name.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

You wont get deindexed. It could affect your GEO Rankings if for example you moved hosting to a different country.
