Placement Targeting on Adwords .... ???

Hi,
I've been debating whether to try the content network on adwords or not, and looks like I will give it a try but I'm not completely clear on how the placement targeting really works. I know that here you enter URLs of sites where you want your ad or banner to appear, but do I also need to enter keywords or is this type of campaign best left without them?

If anyone can give me some pointers on how to properly create a placement targeted campaign I'd appreciate it.

If you use placement targeting (the best approach in my opinion), you do not have to enter any keywords. In fact, it would defeat the purpose if you did.

  Placement targeting is for targeting a specific site, while content network would be were you use keywords to target a wide variety of sites that match up to your keywords.
