How valuable is Article Marketing for SEO and...

Forget about directories really. They don't do much at all. I'd stick with the tried and true profile links and blogging. That's the most secure and effective way to promote your site. You'll hear from others about RSS, bookmarking, etc. but all of those were short lived for my sites.

articles still work, and usually the way to do it is to go MASSIVE. and no need to wait to open at a certain date, this is not a brick and mortar shop, so the earlier the better even if unfinished, as it is important WHEN google sees you first.

Articles submitted in article sites give you quality backlinks, because of the relevant content and links from trusted sites.

Thanks for the reply/info... I always here..."Content is KING". The deeper your site goes as for pages are concerned may limit me tremendously "I'm thinking" because all the real meat and potatoes are inside the membership area section of my site. Is that a false assumption or do those crazy spiders work their way into the site regardless...HMMM? If that's the case aand they do spider the membership area then that would be a huge benefit...that's probably only a google employee could really answer...

I'm having streaming RSS feeds and blogs using videos as well so I'm covering alot of the bases which you guys confirmed...

Turbohipss our opinion was very low on paying to get listed in directories...I really thought that was a little magic bullet...Guess not that much of a big deal...

Just create a good rss feeds and do rss submission, this is also a good way to spread your backlinks and get indexed fast. Or you can submit press release in certain sites with high traffic

Scott...you can get spiders deeper into you site by giving them links to follow from the "front" pages ...if that is practical.
You can also link your articles to deeper pages.....they should not all go to the home page anyway....
And a site map will get them in deeper....

Article Marketing will give you back link as well targated traffic, article link will help you togain Page rank
