Question for those who use Market Samurai.

When you do your keyword research, you get several columns. (I'm not sitting in front of the computer that has the program) but the very last column gives you a dollar amount. Someone told me that was the amount the #1 site could expect to earn....

Is that true and if so.. earn how? Adsense? And if so, in what period.. daily? weekly?

If that is the supposed theory.. do any of you find it is very accurate at all?

Thanks again!

  • If you took the time to watch the provided videos from MS, all your questions would be answered.

    But apparently you did not.

    • That is actually an assumption.. I did watch them and in fact, the guy said earned PER DAY but on another forum I'm at, it is under great debate and each person has their own set of beliefs and have argued to the end on their own point.. so I wanted to come in here and just post it very generic and see what the opinion here is since I find the view points here (while at times are complete opposites) are generally of excellent quality.

And quite honestly... as some people in my other forum mentioned.. to say 'per day' is a little over the top. And the videos I watched never mentioned HOW you would earn that money... so that was my question.
  • It is an estimate, of what the site could earn through Adsense over the course of an average month, if the site were ranked #1 for that particular keyword.

Again it's just an estimate. The training videos truly are great at explaining how to make use of the various fields in MS.

    • That is absolutely incorrect.

The SEO Value is the result of this equation:

"SEOT" (SEO traffic that a #1 spot is likely to receive) times Adwords Cost Per Click.

So, if you have a SEOT/daily of 100, and an Adwords CPC of $1, you would have a $100 daily total in the SEO Value column.

Now, the Adsense earnings would generally not be anywhere near this amount because:

      (1) the Adsense $/click will be less than the Adwords CPC; and

      (2) you would need a 100% adsense CTR

So, in reality for most adsense sites expect maybe 5% of that total.

  • I believe Tom Goodwin is correct.

30 Day Challenge has some great videos about how to use MS on YouTube. They might be useful.
