Is it okay to have adsense on Contact, Privacy Policy and About Us pages? I have seen several sites that have it on these particular pages.

I did not know if this was allowed according to adsense's TOS.

thank you.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Thousands of websites that use wordpress have adsense on their widget area. This means it'll show up on any page of the website.

These pages are actually required by Google, especially the privacy policy...

All niche sites must have these pages..

Personally, I do not put adsense on those pages because you wont get targeted ads on these webpages, and google will smartprice you, the result is few cent per click. I hope this help

Seems kind of pointless as the only time those pages get visited is by search engines.

I don't let those pages get indexed by Google.

If you use the all in one adsense plug in, it tells you how to not have the adsense show up on any page you want.

    This should help:

If you don't want to show any ads on a specific post, put <!--noadsense--> in the post.

Is there a way to have adsense in the sidebar on some pages but not on other pages such as the contact us and privacy policy page? Right now, when I place the adsense code in the text box in widgets, it shows adsense in all the pages that I have on my site in the sidebar.

thank you for the replies. I appreciate it.

I think you are looking for something like TS Custom Widget (just search for it via wordpress) or like someone else above said - use the <noadsense> code.

I wouldn't place ads there. Can't imagine you'd make anything from them anyhow.
