How do i get my website to rank in google.com

I have several websites and all of them have about 100 articles posted in EZA,GOARTICLES,SQUIDDO and yet i seem not to have made enough sales. I guess these is as a result of my website not appearing in google.com.

Example of such website is: www.repairyourxbox360.com that website alone has over 150 articles written and posted in directories and yet has made just 12 sales.

So how do i get my website to appear in google?

You will be doing a fellow warrior and other warriors good if you can answer the question.

Thanks in advance

Your problem is that almost ALL of your links are just from EZA. You need to spread them about a bit.

There's a free blogger blog doing well in the serps in your niche - it only has 400 links but they're well spread out.

Check it out and copy what they've done if you can: xbox360repairfix.blogspot.com

Put that into Backlinks Checker Tool - Backlink Watch and see where they all come from.

I looked at a few of your articles and I don't think you are taking full advantage of the backlinks.

Your link text should contain your main keyword phrases you are trying to rank for.

Instead of linking like this http://www.repairyourxbox360.com you should link like this repair your xbox 360.

Yeah - I should've stated that, I just assumed that when he checks out the competition he'd see they're doing that. Good call.

Not just that, the few links i check you've anchored back to your site with the domain name http://www.repairyourxbox360.com/

You will never get a ranking in google using this method. You need to be using the proper anchor text for the keyword you want to show up for. i.e.

How To Repair Your Xbox 360

Using proper anchor text, from high PR pages, preferably a contextual link from within a post (i.e. not sidebar or footer links) will get you the best results.

The best way to rank on Google quickly is to get authority links. Unfortunately EZ, squidoo, hubpages, etc while often mistakenly called authorities are NOT. Because Google only sees sites with editorial control as authorities - if you can submit your site and get a link without a human editing/moderating then they are not authorities. So get building authority links and you will see your search results transform.

(I'm not saying you should turn links down, more links is good just that the focus of your efforts should be to get authority links with good anchor text that matches your most saught after keywords)

Yup! Rob is right. The keyword should be indexed using proper anchored text. The correct format will be keyword you are optimizing. Try fixing up this issue and you will see some hike in sales.

Also try other SEO services like blog posting, blog commenting, forum posting, Dofollow back linking. You tube, twitter, facebook are other strong tools wherein you can establish your site in a better way. Google ranks a site based on number of backlinkings as well as number of visitors for a particular site. So try all best techniques and grow up.

    Cheers!

I am no expert but have you added your RSS feeds to any directories?

Feedage.com, Feedest.com, MillionRSS.com - they are all good places to add your feed to.

I am sure there is a list somewhere on this forum if you do a search for it.

If you do not have a feed, there are sites that you can go to and add your URL and they will give you a feed URL. I am not sure how it works technically, but it does work. They are usually free.

      All the best,

As Andy said, variation in backlinks is the key. If all your backlinks come from one site - Google won't give them much value. Diversify, A LOT!

You really need to do some reading on exactly what you need. There are a lot of good threads on the site personally I would start with this one It is long but there is a lot of good info to be found and make yourself a list of questions and ideas as you read it so you can expand on what you learn.

You have a good site and I assume you do not have money for PPC.

First of all you need to determine you buying keywords. Which is mostly is "how do fix my xbox 360"

I use a system called the network effect to rank on the first page in Google in matter of a week.

It take too long to explain... But my buddy Shane RQR made some video on youtube:

Go to this video and get start. Watch all of Shane videos... especially the hub and spoke video and modified hub and spoke.

My suggestion is to setup a blog on blogger and set up you backlinks to go to it and backlink from blogger to your money page.

There are a lot of things that go into ranking organically for Google. Updating your site content daily helps a lot.. they like to see new information.. also having a lot of unique visitors helps. If possible, try and link up with a well known site.. it'll make Google trust your site a lot more if you're linked with an already trusted site. Blog posting helps too.. and if you could write a blog or article and link it to your page, the different links will help you rank as well.

      good luck!

Well, you're doing article posting. There no need to post 100 articles if there are all are same content. If you are doing same, then there no chances to get top rank. Rather than down. So better make your contents unique and fresh then post. Also try to do more forum posting with Blog.
If you are really looking traffic..need to follow only social media marketing.

I'm quite new to SEO but I know how to conduct competitor backlink research. I found out that there are sites that have their keywords posted in the footer or the sidebar of those sites. Are they affiliates or paid links? Lastly, is link exchange really worthwhile?

We all know article submission is a very good medium for online promotion. But only article submission can not help you to get high rank in SE.Because when you ll use same sites all backlinks come from same website which ll not help to compete with competitors backlinks. So best practice is use all off page techniques with variation of keywords.Try to do quality link building.

Google looks at how many backlinks you have, and also the diversity of those backlinks. Simply take a look at Alexa, and you will see that they display the amount of sites linking in. Imagine that you posted 30 EZA about your site, alexa would still show 1 site lnking in.
Spread out your backlinks and you'll do amazing.
