Hey Guys,

One of my friend had lost PR of his 5 sites, Earlier he had PR4, PR5 and etc, Now all become PR2 or less. However, he did not add any new content or there are no more spammy things on the content. Regarding backlinks, He had got about 100-150 backlinks per month all are from good source.
But still, PR is lost.... It is a real wonder

However, I guess that, may be the content of his sites are used by others or etc. What do you warriors guess?

Depends on his links. If they were on blogs or forums for example the links will get buried in time and become farther away from the homepage push less and less PR juice.

It is a wonder, isn't it? Hmm... Well I'm not an expert about losing PR, but could it be he wasn't updating often enough? Or was it aggregating anything, or being spammed a lot?

If you could share any ideas about where he got the links, and how often he updates, and the originality of the content then that'd be great. I'm kind of confused.. And maybe include any recent changes he's done.

Well as stated above it could be that some of the links that were created have been removed. That's the only thing I can think of if you didn't touch the site at all. That's why many people continue with link building daily to keep their sites ranked well.

Maybe he was selling text links or using paid to post services like, payperpost or something. As google doesn't like these services they may decrease the PR.
