just a question for you SEO pros
is SEO like the mafia? i.e are their protection layers?
what i'm asking is, will a main site get banned/ penalized if some of the articles linking to it were getting a bazillion links to them.
if a link building effort looked shady for the atricles, would it affect the site they in turn linked too?
