Need Help From PPC Experts

Hey All - I am in need of help from some experienced Adwords advertisers.

I have been doing a project with direct linking for the passed month - and it has been going great. I have been doing about $500 per day for the last week, and was very excited at the progress.

Today when I woke up I checked both of my Adwords accounts, and the ad spend was lower than normal, but I put it off to a slow day. A couple hours later I logged in to check again, and both accounts were at the same exact adspend, clicks, impressions, etc - which means none of my ads are showing in EITHER account - and both accounts stopped showing the ads simultaneously.

I have no alerts or any messages telling me of problems with the accounts. And it's not Google just not updating, as the Clickbank sales aren't coming in and I have checked myself to see if my ads are showing and they are not.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on? $500 a day is a lot of money to just suddenly disappear out of no where with no warning or alerts or anything. And I have put a lot of work into getting these ads up and profitable etc.

The one account has about 250 ad groups, and the other has about 50. Again, both accounts are not showing any ads all the sudden (started sometime early this morning). If anyone could tell me what is going on here I would really really appreciate it as this is how I put food on the table for my family! Thank you for your time everyone.

  • Why not just contact adwords directly by phone they will tell you exactly whats occured
  • Thank you, I wasn't aware that Adwords even had a support number. But I just found it and am on the phone with them now, thanks again.
  • Google is cracking down on Affiliate Marketing landing pages on Adwords. They want the ad to look more like a true website and not just an e-mail capture and name. Some call it the Google Slap....

  • I will let you know what happened. I called them and right now they said that the account is under review. They SAY it was a random review (of course), but who knows. I asked the rep that I talked to for his information so that I could contact him for updates, and he wouldn't give me his last name or extension (how convenient right). He said he will contact me with all the information I need.

    As for my quality score and landing pages, I am direct linking with all ads in this account (and doing quite well at $500 a day). Quality score is fine, at least 5\10 for every ad.

    I'll let you know what happens in the coming days, hopefully they don't kill my $500 a day easy income. I backed up the campaigns in Adwords Editor, just in case they decide to kill my account.

    I actually already created a new account and just copied the campaigns over with Adwords Editor, but they are not showing in that account either so I am going to have to try some other stuff if they do kill my account.

    Again I'll let you know what happens.

    I would advise not doing this. Just be patient with the original account while they review it.

    Having worked at a call center before, there's a reason they don't give you their last name: security. The one I worked at told us never to give your last name, only your first. And if the Google call center is anything like the one I worked at, which I suspect it is, there's hundreds of stations. You could work at a different station every day. There's no such thing as an "extension" and if you get linked to the same rep, it's just pure luck. So be understanding of call center reps. It's a thankless job.
