My 2nd site indexed yesterday and I put adsense on it last night and when I woke up this morning it was deindexed....I mean completely off the G map not just pushed down the ranks (it showed on page 3 when it did index).

It seems adding adsense deindexed it. It was a 1 page content site with sitemap/privacy/contact page. It took 1 week to show on google yesterday.

I am so new this was my 2nd site took 1 week to index, I have another site and after 10 days still not indexed.

Did I get google slapped because of 1 page content?

It will probably come back don't worry. Same thing happened to me. When i checked all the pages where indexed. Then later only 2 pages then later nothing again. Next morning they were all up and have been since then. Just give google some time.

Don't worry - your site is doing the google dance. Give it a few weeks.

I'm having a similar situation too though the site hasn't got adsense. When I compared to other of my sites I don't think I've done anything wrong, so i'll wait a couple weeks and see if it's just google dance.

It does sound strange especially for a newbie can be scary experience. Anyone had similar experience with search engine indexing?

In my experience, sites bounce around a lot on Goggle at first but then settle down later. Google has many servers and you can get indexed and ranked on one or two, but not on others, at first.

I had heard about the google dance but I found it strange that putting adsense seemed to trigger it or at least in mind it did. And I thought the dance was changing position but not completely deindexing.

It's too early to say anything about such a fairly new site. Keep an eye on the rankings though. Make sure you do not backlink with any bad neighborhoods and try to stay clear of any policy violations. You should be good.

site:www.yoursite. com does show NOTHING??? And it did before? Then it is indeed de-indexed. But if it still comes up but simply is way back in SERPS its not deindexed, just dancing.

IMO, I would avoid one page sites with AdSense. You are risking an account ban if you have too many of these.

Offer some more content - at least 5-10 pages to stay in Google's good books.

I'm not sure what do you mean by "de-indexed" but I think you can only say that your site is wiped out from google if your webmaster tools shows that no page is indexed... having your site even on the last page of google is still considered "indexed".. Your competitors just neat you, I think...

I am talking about site:www.domain.com not just lower in ranks...I mean gone completely.

I haven't added it to webmaster tools...I keep reading conflicting things about that.

I'm having the same exact problem. I'm not sure if I should remove all my adsense and cross my fingers or if I should just wait it out.

I was indexed yesterday after creating a site and then it was completely de-indexed today. My site isn't going to be a big content site but a site I will use for a local company that I put adsense on while I build it up.
