I want 500k links

Im not joking my competitors have a ton of links. I can compete with them in terms of prices and service NP. My site is just as good as them. My on site / page seo is just as good.

but links.. im way behind.. some have 1,000,000 links...

i need a good strategy to get that many links and I can not get banned from google doing it... i know i will dance a bit with results thats ok but i need to build a TON of links to my sites...

any ideas..

right now i have a blog on my site. a blog on wordpress and a blog on blogger. i post and use onlywire to create bookmarks.. i also write articles on squidoo.

i can write some good content and i know how to spin it both naturally and using tools...

i am on some do follow forums .. not sure how much that helps.

I am in the process of creating affiliate sites that will point to my site. I own a bunch of domains I can use to do that.

please help...

well it takes time to compete with the big boys. And it seems you have a long way to go.

Do blog commenting on new blog posts....every other post after yours will multiply your links from that site....use other UGC sites like hubpages, also use article marketing sites like Ultimate article wizzard and ISNARE which distribute your articles across hundreds of sites.

to be perfectly honest, the only way you are going to get 500k links quickly enough is either through bluefart methods, or making a really, really good site.

Instead of that, focus on getting more quality links. 5000 links from quality sites will go a much longer distance than 1,000,000 links from ****ty sites

  But how long have the competitors sites been online? That's a big consideration, too.
  
  Sites that have been online successfully over time will have a depth and breadth of links that you can't match with a fast initial effort. You don't have to top them - just be visible enough to compete with them.

xrumer, scrapebox...and hell yes, its bluefart...and if you do it too fast you might regret it. (deindexed)

Dont even think about that it would look natural if eg. some new or low quality site would have more links than wikipedia This screams "deindexed" already...

thanks for the input.

Ok my site has been up a long time 6 years i think.. but now we are focusing on ecommerce. before it was just a "business card" style site.

my competitors have a ton of crappy links. its hard because they have so many links its tough to research all the backlinks. Honestly my site is basically just as good as most.. better than some. I really think the links are killing me though. I am not even close for the keywords I want but using some methods here I am still doing ok.. i just want to get on that first page pretty badly.

will article marketing really get me thousands of links?
I think my next focus is going to be in setting up and hosting web sites for other people and having those sites link back to my site. a lot of my competitors have affiliate sites that point to there site.

Why dont you try press release. I think its more important for you to get a lot of traffic, google news can help. Since you have an aged site, its easier for you to build more backlinks. It takes some time, off course, but its worthed.

I just say one thing. XRUMER BLAST. Blast your way to the top with xrummer. But use it wisely. No I was just kidding. Xrummer will get you penalized by google so don't use it. Just try to stay focused and stay consistent.

I would recommend using Angela's and Paul's backlinks. You might not get a million links, but you will get high quality.

this is a good start. you're building up your own network of sites to use as backlinks. If you build those site up properly they will be worth more then a bunch of junky links.

I would recommend using Angela's and Paul's backlinks. You might not get a million links, but you will get high quality.

these are not high quality backlinks... they are generic junk links... if you stick to this plan you will need a million of them to compete with your competitions million junk links. you can use them but you want some true quality backlinks to shorten the distance between you and your competition.

I joined Free Traffic System - Increase Targeted Website Traffic with Free Unlimited One Way Links some times ago. I am sure it is a genuine site. It is also free anyway so you won't lose anything.
I am about to start using them! I said that some months ago, still not get round to it.
You get a link to your site when you post an article, should be OK if you can spin some articles. I was told they checked the article content.

Your concept on building links is faulty and it might get your site sandbox'd. I would suggest you to build quality backlinks. Links from angela and Johnson. Forums links, articles and do follow blogs will help your site. Links are not important but the quality of those links. Links from bad neighborhood could just kill you. For more you can always contact me.

It might be good that you can't use PM. Honestly the only legitimate way of getting those kinds of backlinks in a short period of time is linkbait. Creating an application or content that goes viral and is picked up as innovation or entertaining by alot of sites.

  Why not try to make a quiz or invent something new and unusual on your site, such as an a detailed, important, helps-a-lot article, or different but "cool" video... Something people wish to put on their site. And then they will put a link to you.
  
  Then put a way for people to spread that. And a little promotion...

Or make a free wordpress theme or some software, keep it free but have your link in it. Some people gain a HUGE nr. of backlinks using such methods.
