I was just wondering if anyone minded taking a look at my site and offering any advice on how I can improve the onpage SEO.

I basically have a squeeze page:

Acne Treatments | Free Skin Care Mini-Course

and then article pages, for example:

How to Find the Best Treatment for Adult Acne for Your Skin Type

Many thanks for any tips!

What keyword are you trying to rank for. I assume it's acne treatments. That might be next to impossible to rank for because your going up against some huge authority sites. However I did take a quick look. You need to have your main keyword in your H1 tag. I would also have some links in your content both on the index page and the articles pages which use the anchor text "acne treatment" to link to each other. Also be sure you are using good LSI keywords throughout your content. These ideas will help but again unless you have enough offpage quality links, that might be a tough keyword to rank for. With a ppc campaign however you should get a high quality score on google adwords. Hope this helps!

You need to include your keyword in your site description. Your domain is good enough, but you need to build a lot of backlinks if you want to catch up. I would suggest at least 5% keyword density on each page, and try to use 3-4 keywords instead of just one

    Its not a bad site...

The articles page seems well designed.

Acne is a difficult market I'm sure - so you will need good backlinks and research to kick it...

The description is one of the most important areas for on page seo, so as suggested by AGz21 you must rewrite the description. Keywords are fine but they do not rate as highly as the description for positioning. Also try to use just one H1 tag and a number of H2 tags.

Could I ask please what web design software did you use to build the site, I like it!

    Regards

LoL for acne you'll need tons of backlinks to get indexed.
The site is not bad either.

Good effort. The site looks great.
You don't seem to have enough keywords (I assume your main keyword is "acne treatments") on the page.
