4 of My Micro Niche Adsense Site Disappeared

I just started building up a small empire of micro niche sites (aka "Xfactor sites") and have built 8 so far. They were all ranking fro spot 3-50 in google. Hit that spot as soon as they got indexed and have stayed there.

I had been tracking those sites every day for about a week using MS when all in sudden 4 of them are nowhere to be found. They are still indexed but are nowhere ranking. I know this might be the Google dance playing a trick on me but it's weird that half of my sites all drop on the same day.

I have not been doing anything BlueFart, did a little bit of BMD (I did go easy there), few profile links, blog comments and web directories.

Might it be that Google has tracked down my sites and deliberately "unranked" them? Those were all 1 page site but I was just waiting for more content from my content provider.
The sites are 3-4 weeks old.

Please clarify for me Warriors
Cheers
Heimir

Content is king IMO ... start adding to the site and it might just come back up for ya.

Yeah, I will certainly do that. I just wonder why they all dropped the same day.
I will keep adding content (well at lest 5 pages) and build backlinks.

Some other people are reporting site drops and there is also a rumour that caffeine is is being rolled out on some datacenters.... so it could be that taking some effect.

Just keep doing your stuff some will win, some will lose but keep it paced and you will start seeing results over time.

Might just be that, my 4 other sites however sit firmly in their place. They were build the same way.

        Well said.

Just keep plugging away at your process and launching sites. Google is a fickle mate and its more natural than not to be getting the G-luv some days and be given the silent treatment on others. The more sites you have, the more it will even out.

Yes this might be true. But as people have replied, you shouldn't be worried about sudden/severe drops - just give it some time!

It was just me being a little paranoid
2 of those 4 sites jumped back up. One was number 57 in Google and is now 25, the other one was 10 and is now 9.

      Yep - just be patient.

To this day all of my web pages still move up and down, go away
      then come back, etc.

Remember: The search engines are just like the ocean. We can set up boats
in that ocean without sails, and just see what happens.

We are not entitled, just lucky when we get a piece of the action.

I've noticed this happening to a lot of people including my own sites. If your site gradually goes down ranks then be nervous, but if it suddenly drops, just wait a couple days and it usually comes back stronger than before.

I've noticed this happeneing to many people's websites...in this section like 25% of the threads are people worried about their ranks disappearing. I' guessing that it is Google Caffeine or if a few weeks ago you read Google's blog they said that blog commenting links will be frowned upon and stuff like that. My tips are: Add content, build links slowly (nice natural ones not comment spamming), be patient.

I use blog commenting all the time and I always see the best results and increased pr on top of that from this method.

Even xfactor says it takes about 3 months for your links and sites to stabilize. Stop checking daily and just get back to work and then start checking after a few months. Mine hit the top ten within a few weeks and then start the dance....i will start worrying about it after a few months, and I hope your not using the stock template from xfactor, that ugly thing sticks out like a sore thumb and leaves a footprint bigger then a fat German during Oktoberfest...
