My first $10 day with Google Adsense

Hi everyone. I thought that I would exclaim my extreme happiness and gratitude to everyone on this forum who has helped me with all of my n00b requests and questions. Things are starting to pay off with the xfactor/clickbump method and I had my first $10 day with adsense. Now, I've had a substantially better than normal CTR today and I don't expect my 4 micro-niche sites to perform this well everyday, but I'm adding new websites every week.

If there are a couple of things I've learned that I could share with someone who isn't having any success yet it would be the following:

1.) Do not get discouraged no matter what. For awhile my sites weren't showing up in the SERPS and I got very discouraged and upset. I didn't see any results until I embraced the fact that if I continued to build sites every week and follow the xfactor/clickbump method, eventually I would have to see results. Now this isn't just alternative thinking, but I truly believe in a statement made a very long time ago by Napoleon Hill, "Thought's become things." After I developed this mindset with my online marketing efforts, things just started falling in place, whether it was with niche selection or producing content on somewhat boring topics.

2.) This part is a little more analytical than the first. When I'm researching a specific niche I do a lot of research on the websites that will be my competition if I choose to get into this particular niche. Not only do I check their PR and backlinks but I also check with some traffic analyzer tools for checking other websites traffic and uniques to see if it is even worth getting into the niche. I also look at domain age, and sometimes I even check out the competitions actual backlinks, the page where the backlink comes from. If they are from relatively decent places, and places that I can't get a link from, I usually can the idea.

3.) If you're doing research on a niche using the xfactor/clickbump method and you find 1 or even 2 sites on the first page of Google that are utilizing this method, go for it! Obviously if someone else got on the first page of Google with a small website and minimal backlinks, so can you! Yeah, you might not get as good of results, but theirs no reason we all can't share in the profits from adsense!

Anyway just thought I'd share some advice from a 2 month old internet marketer who has figuratively speaking, "seen the light."

You can have some seo to promote your sites. Try to tank your main articles/keywords with backlinks from article marketing like EZA [ ezinearticles ] and more.

Refer to the thread The Clickbump Method. I like following along to his guidelines. Two of 4 of my websites have landed on the first page of Google without any backlinks. It's all about the niche research you do. Find a niche that looks like you can get on the first page for without any backlinks. That's where the power of this method is very frighteningly easy.

Hey, congrats! I've been getting some success with micro niches aswell. One question, what it is "xfactor/clicknump method" you speak of? I Google'd it and nothing useful showed up. Unless it's a "method" which isn't free to the public do you mind explaining please? .

Search this forum for Clickbump and you'll see his thread. Xfactor's thread is also on this forum. Both are excellent sources of information regarding micro niche sites.

    Hi Jacob - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

It's wonderful to hear you got $10 from 4 sites... one thing I'd mention for any newbies is, I had some serious issues with ranking/indexing when I was hosting with GoDaddy. Now, I will add a disclaimer that I may be wrong about the GoDaddy issues - but I doubt it.

Someone asked what the xfactor method is - there's a link below John's sig which leads to the free thread. Then there's the clickbump thread as well.

Job well done man and wish you all the best.

I am on the same boat. But guess what, time will tell. Many people give up too quickly. If you follow John Xfactor advice, he said that it is not a week thing, a month thing or even a 3 months thing. Anyone who jump to this biz need to be patient otherwise you will loose.

I am starting to see some results from some of my sites. It is about 4/5 months since I started this. I see the light already.

This is so true. I found a keyword that was available but someone with an Xfactor site was already on the front page of Google. I decided to buy it anyways to see if I could out rank the site. Once it got indexed it went to the front page of Google as well. the site that was there before me is beating me by two spots but that just goes to show that competition is a good thing.

      Nice work.

Just curious to know how many pages these websites have?

I created a one page adsense website (plus pages for contact us, privacy policy, etc), it is making $3.00 a week.

I registered quite a few keyword related domain names and am confident they will get to the page 1 of google.

But I am wondering how google view 1 page micro nieche type websites?

I can seriously see doing 100 one page type websites and make $100 a day but don't want to get banned by google.

Bit of a quandary as to whether should work on a bigger, perhaps 30+ page adsense website or should reel out 100 mini sites in 2 or 3 months.

      Any advice?

Good to hear about your success.

      Jim.

Cool job. To scale up, keep adding new sites/pages and do it patiently. I mean, 20-30 sites per month is patient enough but 200 sites per day is not.

          Good luck.

Point 2 about research is excellent and I cannot also stress this enough. If you do solid keyword research and analyse your competition then you will know whether or not its worth getting into the niche and also how feasible it is to make money.

    Again well done

Good on you mate! Just keep having the faith and you will get paid off the big time soon!

Just the other day I was checking up on flippa.com because I was thinking to sell one of my mini sites and found this site which is pretty much like a clickbump micro niche site. This site was claiming that it's been making $300+/month from Adsense and was sold for $2000+!

Just another option to make some quick cash...
