Membership or Adsense? What do you think?

Actually, I have 2 questions.

1. What do you think is a better revenue model for a website.

A) Membership
B) Adsense

2. Where can I find stats on adsense earnings for websites? Is there
a site like estibot where I can type in a site and get a rough idea
about their adsense income?

  • Depends what niche you are in and how much traffic you have ? among other things
  • What site?
    What target?
    What rankings?
    Your IM skills?
    What's Your relation with visitors?
    Do you have previous contact with visitors?

    I am sure there are other questions you need to answer before we can answer you
  • That's a pretty large question...what kind of product do you have?
  • Well if you are confused I suggest free membership with adsense revenue. What better than that. You make your adsense revenue and also get the persons email address so you can email them back for more offers.

    • Good point brp002, here's the issue.

      I'm under the impression that you would get more visitors to your site if it were a free service, hence the potential for more adsense clicks.
