Adsense clicks = $0

Just added adsense to a site that I started, and was impressed with the results, for the most part.

Out of around 70 visits, I had 2 clicks. Unfortunately, the earnings still show as $0. I'm a little disappointed, because this is in a niche that should have clicks earning $1+.

It's been like that for a few hours, so I'm guessing that in the end they're not going to count.

  • How did you set up your Adsense? Their default is to show public service ads if there are no ads and you don't earn on public service ads.

    • Is it possible that Google needs you to verify some additional info?

I did not check my adsense for a couple weeks and was surprised when I did that I had clicks, but no money accrued. So, I looked and found out that they needed me to verify my address or something and until I did they were running PSA'S

  • Sounds like something is wrong - you should get money for sure - Contact Google if it doesn't show after a day or so.

    • If you have "allowed sites" enabled, did you add the site to that list?
