  • Write articles, press releases, blog and post that content to social bookmarking, comment on relevant forums, advertise......
  • Try exchaning links with other websites in your category.
  • One week?! Patience is what you need :-) If it is a brand new site don't go mad with the link building. Just vary the types of links you get and get a few per day. Then as the weeks go past ramp it up a little.

Blasting loads of links at a brand new site will likely see it disappear for a few months.

  • As Andy said, you definitely need more patience. It can often take a month for the results of an SEO campaign to really be apparent.

Just keep on it, keep variety in what you're doing, and I'd also recommend not only doing backlinking but also continuing to add fresh content.
  • In my experience consistent back links, and choosing the right keyword phrase will get you moved up in the rankings. My link building packages have helped hundreds of websites get Google top ten rankings. Check my profile website.
  • Submitting to article directories may increase traffic, good luck.
  • Here are some of my suggestions on proper link building with keywords on a low competition basis:

    1. Do-follow forum posting
    2. Do-follow blog commenting
    3. Do-follow and no-follow social bookmarking
    4. Article and press release submissions
    5. Create Squidoo Lens and Hubpages
    6. Yahoo Answers
    7. Web directory and search engine submissions

They are legitimate and certified "White Hat" types.
  • Manual submission work is very good for website.

Try to some Blog commenting and posting, create signature for some good forum and posted.

Submit to your site some fast approved web directories.

Write unique article and submit Article directories.
  • check out your competitors, check out their niches and learn from them, look how do they adding their keywords, backlinks

Search engine optimization this will help you a lot
  • What keywords are you targeting?

Overall, it looks like your focus is too broad and, as such, you'll probably only get the occasional long tail search. That's OK, it is a valid long term strategy, but you'll need a lot of content and page-by-page link building to start making good money on a site like this.

    • Participate in Answer sites, Forums with link as signature. Social Bookmarking and Press Releases will also bring good traffic
  • well i have a good way to do that.just spend around 30 minutes per day to do this:

step 1: Search high PR blog at google
step 2: post comment at all high PR blog
step 3: post url at yahoo answer
step 4: post comment and url at youtube,
    veoh,or others video website
    step 5:join Digg,delecious,squidoo.

The main way is choose a blog that has a high PR
to post your url.If you choose a website/blog
that has a bad PR or maybe was banned by
google,it can give you a bad result too.

    g luck and
    that`s all!
  • I forgot to tell you one thing.
If you have a budget surely this way can
drive you thousand traffic per day faster.

Just spend your dollar to blog that
    has a lot of visitors.

ask the admin of the blog so
that he/she can review your blog.

    make sure your blog/website has
    similar niche or category
    to that blog.

if you can provide a good quality
content at your blog, you can maintain
have a good visitors per day and maybe it will
    increase from time to time.

    wish u luck!

    • hilar1013,

Sorry to break it to you like this, but I actually went to your site to take a look at it and provide some constructive criticism.

I am unsure of the 'intent' behind your blog. Is it just to build a large website to hopefully gain some PR later that you can pass link juice to your main site? Or is this going to be your Main website?

If this is your main website or you are planning for this to be one of your 'money' websites, then here is my recommendation:

If you value this website and wish to build it into a reputable source of information with returning visitors etc... then you MUST STOP USING SPUN CONTENT.

Here is an example taken from one of your articles, the very first one I clicked on:

As you can see this is barely intelligible and will make any visitor almost immediately click away from your website and you will not see them again ... EVER...

Please use only Original Content on your Money Sites, or the complete Original Article with the Author Source Box intact, otherwise you will simply devalue your website with Junk and all your hard work will be for nothing...

      All the best,

      Michael
  • search for your major keyword and see which of your competitors is ranking highest. Then search for their domain name and look for sites that have accepted their link then try and submit your website there also.
  • Patience is a virtue. However while you wait, post some blog comments. Works well for me
