Help with Page Rank

HI all.

I know that this is a common question, but I am at my wit's end. I am a complete idiot when it comes to getting people to my site. When I was doing IM, I would write articles, ending them with a link to my sales page, exchange links, etc., but I am looking for help on getting my offline business's website to be on the first page of Google without any other links, or sales articles. When I do a search for the business name, ONE SUN MEDIA GROUP, a linkedin account that has been deleted for months is the first result. Please help... even if you can just point me in the right direction, I will be grateful.

  • You need optmize your web page with a little basic seo such as place you main keywords in your page title and in your headline and sprinkled throughout your sales copy, if you have images on your site you should use "alt image tags" too.
    And you need to get as many back links to your site as possible to increase page rank, more info on my blog here SEO Website Traffic

    It is hard to say without seeing your site - but have you optimized it?

    Another thing you may want to do is add your business to Google Local. This is free and can often result in your site being displayed along side Google Maps for any local searches.
