Can we outrank the directory site?

Hello fellow warrior,

When i do keyword research, i see a lot of directory site in the page 1,
is it a good sign to go in?

Their page backlink is quite low but the domain backlink is quite high.

Whats your thought?

      Some directory sites are highly authoritative and rank very well, others you won't see much higher in rankings. You can outrank them if you provide unique and quality links and/or contents for your visitors.

    It could be that the niche is not very competitive. Hard to tell with just the info provided. Take a look at the quality of these directories in the SERP's.

    Do the internal pages that are ranking have PageRank? What are the ages of these directories?
