Can someone please tell me what I have done
wrong with my adsense ads?

Here is one of my pages where there are setup on:

k9s 4 EVER: Legend of Rigel: Hero of the Titanic

All the other pages are exactly the same.

Does a theme have to be adsense friendly for them to work?

Thanks

Lorna

Well if you look at the code, your Google code is just sort of thrown in at the bottom. You need to figure out how to get it in a specific spot but you knew that... uh... If you look in the admin area, try to see if there is a way to edit the code and paste it in where you want it... Without seeing it I can't really help any more.

You have the Adsense code beneath the closing body and html tags, which puts it outside of the site, essentially.

You need to make sure the code appears before these two tags: </body></html>

That will at least get it back into the proper context within your site, if not placed precisely where you need it.

  • "Adsense Ready" means nothing more than the author of the template made code for simpler ad insertion. You simply need to understand how your sites theme works and place the advertisements in the appropriate areas.

If you keep that theme you'll need to use an editor to place your code within the theme.

Or with WordPress you can choose an adsense plug in that might insert the code in the correct places you want depending again on the theme structure.

How can I delete the adsense on that page and start over?
