Looking For A Backlink Checking Tool

Can anyone recommend a good tool for checking backlinks, free or paid? I've found that the results I get from different tools vary significantly, and I'd like a reliable way to check my backlinks, along with the backlinks of my competitors.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

  I use SEOMoz. Very fast and they do have some nice tools. I do the paid service.

I use SEO for firefox its simple to use you can turn it on ansd off and offers PR and yahoo links etc its great "tools dot seobook dot com"

Yahoo Site explorer is indeed giving me a much reliable date of my backlinks but I sometimes consulted other backlink checking tools as well like Backlinkwatch

There is no tool that can tell you all the backlinks of a website.. It is really a waste to try and find them, you could just spend that time building more backlinks.

If you want it to spy on competition.. then forget it as you will never find all your competitions backlinks.
