Google's cache date..

Is there a way to bump it, so to speak? My domain has been cached recently but anything after the / is about a week and a half behind...

Just wondering if there is something I'm missing.

  • I would bookmark some of the interior pages on dofollow bookmarking sites. There is a list of them on my blog below.

    • Everytime I've tried to do this, it has taken me a few days to get it to reload the date (after linking on social bookmarkeing sites).
  • The best way is adding new content frequently, that way the googlebot will visit more often. If it sees you only add content once a month why would it visit every day?!?!?

    It does take a while for google to decide to visit your site more often. I set up a blogger blog and added plr content about once an hour it took about 1 1/2 weeks for google to decide to come back often.

    Now if I put a post up it gets spidered within about an hour - normally a lot less.
    Don't forget yours is not the only website out there!

  • Also adding your site in a forum signature, since forums are always getting visited by google.
