Duplicate profile accounts... notice any difference?

I've seen some profile backlink sellers and a bunch of other guys doing this (even AngelaE does it) but does it really make enough of a difference?

for example... having 2 or 5 or 10 profiles on the same site all with the same backlinks and anchor text.

I'm just curious.

Wondering if I want to double up on sites I know stick and work or search out more sites to exploit.

Please... experienced answers only. Guessing and hypothesis doesn't do anyone any good.

I know, from being on the receiving end, that doing this will lead to an IP ban courtesy of the forum owner you're spamming the crap out of. If you're really persistent you might get a spamming abuse report sent to your hosting company and domain registrar.

Basically, if you're going to do this you're moving into the 'dark arts' area and you will be increasing your risk level. This is particularly risky for monetized sites using Adsense or other popular and picky advertisers. Are you willing to risk your sites, your affiliate accounts and potentially money over using this kind of exploitation?

If so, don your dark colored hat proudly, load up XRumer and have at it, understanding that there will be a price to be paid sooner or later.

  • Spam is spam. And it would not boost you in rankings.

If it did then the thousands and thousands of sig file links I have across more Forums than I can count would have me at the top of the rankings for the very tight niches I work. Sadly it's not the case.

A million links from the same IP is not useful for SEO purposes.

I'm not suggesting a million links. You can only milk a site or IP so much before you receive diminished returns.

I know, for example, that kkchoons little backlinking service offers something like 10 profiles on 500 different sites. I've also seen that some of the backlink WSO peeps are doing this as well when I'm digging through their backlinks.

I'm just curious if this makes any real difference.

No clue man, sorry. I just do one profile per site. No real reason other than laziness and a lack of motivation. I don't see how two or more profiles from a site will help your same backlink. Kind of like 100's of signature links don't count as 100's of backlinks.

I know you didn't want guessing, but there it is.

As far as dark arts....pfffttttttt. And? Any kind of gaming the serps, like tags, is dark arts. So welcome to the dark side one and all SEOers.

I would not go about this as a good way of link building. You should focus on actually taking part in online communities and trying to contribute, not beating the system.

signature links would be better than what you are currently doing imho

    I'm not doing it.

I'm just curious about it from those who are doing it.

Getting a link from the same site even with different account/profile is not that effective bro compared to having links from different domains.

Getting a link from same site is not a advisable thing to do and it will consider as spam. Its better to get profile link from different website which have decent PR.
