You do not need any books for that. Here ya go:

1) Find any niche that adwords advertisers are paying for. Product-based
niches are outstanding, but other niches can work too. Have a hobby you
love to write about that also has products related to it? Use that one.

2) Write 1-10 posts per day on your niche and post it to your blog. Be
sure to find a medium to long-tail keyword for each post. Put that keyword
in the title, once in the first paragraph, once in the last paragraph, and write
naturally for the readers (not the search engines).

3) Promote your site (I prefer article marketing in its various forms) however
you wish. There are a ton of backlinking methods you can use (forum posts,
blog posts, link services, etc.) Again, I'm a long-term kind of guy who has
been around the block since 2005 using all of these methods, so I choose
the less-is-more concept, but your milage may vary.

4) As you see traffic and hopefully clicks, check awstats to see what
keywords your traffic is coming from. Then learn to harness and target
those keywords.

5) Keep building more web pages to your blog and repeat the same process
for other niches.

6) Get from 10 to 20 niche blogs all with 50+ posts and an equal amount of
high quality PR backlinks to those blogs - the assess your progress.

7) By that time you will have developed your own personal approach and
will be well on your way towards your financial goals - possibly into other
internet marketing areas.

8) To maximize your earnings potential, write your blog posts that link
to affiliate products, CPA offers, etc.

9) Once you get comfortable, understand that you do not own these blogs
and that you will be better off getting your own domains and building a real
portfolio of websites that you can sell of one day if you wish (you can't sell
blogger blogs).

10) And finally, always look for ways to succeed, not ways why something
will not work. Mindset is the true key to making it big in any business, bar
none.
