Hi

I have been waiting for a long time for yahoo to index my website: Antenna Installation Sydney | Allied Antennas | TV Aerial | Home Theatre , but it still hasnt.
My website was created early october, 2009. Google indexed my website within a week but yahoo hasnt. I have already created webmasters for yahoo and done all necessary requirements from it.
What could be wrong? Please advice a solution.

Thank you

Yahoo definitely beats to a different search engine drummer.

They seem to have a strong affinity for blogs. At least I've noticed that with my sites. My sites don't seem to come up for the keywords that I rank high for in Google but my blog comes up number one for its keywords.

Other than that, I've not figured them out.

thanks for the reply. One think is weird thou, which is my mate and I created our own individual websites roughly at the same time. He doesnt have a blog and have similar content like mine but he didnt use site builders like I did. And hes site was up and indexed within 3 weeks while Im in a big queue. lol

Did you submit your site to Yahoo? I ask because I have tried submitting and not submitting and for some odd reason I find Yahoo indexes me faster if I don't submit my site to them and just them Yahoobot stumble on it.

One trick you can try is to open a Delicious account (if you don't already have one) and bookmark your site.

Just give the delicious thing a try. It is a Yahoo service, so it seems like anything placed in there gets indexed pretty fast.

How are you checking to see if you are indexed? For Yahoo, I usually like to use the site:xxx.com command from the Yahoo search bar. That will open Yahoo site explorer and you will have an answer fairly quick.
