Hi warriors,

My pages are indexed. When i search "site:myurl" on google, only url is displayed (without title and description).
My page blocked googlebot once because of robots.txt, and i have set it to public since 1 week ago. It still the same.

I've done some research. Here is what i have done and result.
1. wordpress privacy set to public - OK
2. check with XENU for broken link - no broken link
3. webmaster tool - sitemap indexed, fetch as googlebot OK, test robots.txt - Allowed.

Wordpress plugin
- SEO All in one

Basically, i decided ask for help because google visited my site this morning and indexed some new pages with the same result (only URL) even after the changes i have made.

Appreciate if anyone can share some thoughts or solutions? So i can proceed with it.

Thanks.

I was going to say it sounds like sounds like a robots.txt problem. Without knowing what your domain is, I'd first check the cached URL in Google. Enter "cache:www.yourwebsite.com" without the quotes into Google. If the date of the snapshot on the page is before the date of the change, have no fear. It just means Googlebot has not returned to the page since your update. If it's a new blog you're working on without many inbound links, it's pretty common for Google not to return for a week or two.

Come back and post a follow up if that was not the problem.

Robots.txt definately ok, i verify the text file with webmaster tool.
Besides, there's no cache on it.
The blog is pretty new, about 3 weeks. I been creating blog previously and google indexed it properly but not this one. Just wonder why.

Wait a few days. I have seen this happen to new sites that the Googlebot has just found. It seems like Google has found the site, but has not yet processed it (figured out what the site is about and where it should be placed in the SERPs).

There you have it, no cache means Googlebot has not returned.

I know it's hard sometimes, but often with SEO, you just need to wait a few days.
