Keyword Density Confusion

I have been published on Isnare for months but suddenly my articles are being rejected due to keyword density allegedly being more than
7%.

The keyword density tools I use however show keyword density no greater than 6%.

Isnare idenitifies the keyword in question as 1071, which of course tells me nothing.

Queries I have made to Isnare have not been responded to.

Anyone have answer?

Thanks!

Peter

  • You are wasting your time. Think about what you said. They say it's 7% and you say it's 6%.

What this tells me is that your writing is NOT natural. Put a keyword phase in your title, heading and once in your body near the start (First 250 Words) and a related phrase somewhere in the rest of the text. That's it. Then make sure your article is readable.

You dont' need specific densities to rank.

If software or humans can so easily pick up on a single phrase being emphasized then readers will too and your work will appear unnatural.

IMHO, write for human and not for computer, people reads your article(s). If it is good, they'll spread it out. And you'll gain free backlinks though when they bookmark it or putting a linkback from their site etc. But repeating at least 2-3 of your targeted keyphrase should be enough or you may varies it.

I agree that you should write for humans. I made the mistake of including far too many keywords in the homepage of my website and while trying so hard to get it indexed, another of my sites that had less content had already ranked for one of my most important keyword phrases.

I would have to agree with Internet Marketing IQ, NoUseForName, and Denise. you shouldn't be worried about keyword density. if you've got your keyword in the title and in the main content a couple of times you're good to go

    after all it's not 1998 anymore. . ..//

Not sure I made this clear but my article was rejected by Isnare on account the keyword density was greater than 7%. Yet, when I analyze the article
using a keyword density tool, I cannot find any word/phrase, etc that reflects a density greater than 6% (and that is for the word "the").

Since Isnare did not indicate which word or phrase is the offending agent, I am at a loss as to how to remedy.

What I would like to know is: how did make their calculation?

      Thanks for your input!
