Easiest way to boost Backlinks & get them indexed faster?

Hi! I'm relatively new to SEO, and I'm trying to increase my rankings for my blog (it's very new, less than a month old). I've subscribed to Paul's & Angela's backlink packets to help build monthly backlinks for my blog.

  • I've heard that you can boost your backlinks by pinging the backlinks to get the search engines to see the backlinks & get indexed sooner. How would I go about doing this?
  • What is the easiest way to do this for each backlink? I've heard about the Backlink Booster by Sean Donahoe, but I'm trying to save as much money as possible for now, so I'd rather do this manually for now.
Again, I'm a newbie, so if you could explain things as simple as possible that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone in advance for your time and help!!!!

I would stay away from automatic link schemes.. or link exchange.. blog.. article submission .. press release, and forum postings are all good ways to generate backlink..

do you know that link on eBay ad is a "dofollow" link? eBay offers free advertising too for casual sellers too...

    disclosure: I own eBay stocks.

How would you advertise for free on ebay without selling something? Or are you talking about selling an item and placing an advertisement in the ad for a website or something different?

You could use your forum signature (this one or another dofollow forum). It's pretty darn effective for getting things indexed considering how much popular forums are crawled and the authority some forums carry.

Yea, that is going to be one of my SEO tactics. I think I'm going to work on building my backlinks up for 2-3 months and then I'm going to go the signature route (have lots of people displaying it as their signature).

I'm just not sure how to boost my backlinks?? I've heard you can use ping-o-matic, but I thought it was just for blogs...not sure how to use it to boost backlinks.

It definitely works. But it is not really effective when you start really backlinking and you create a significant number of them.

Thank you- Tom Goodwin, Rory Wilkinson, Scott Rankin, & JasonMorgan

Thanks guys for the great responses!

JasonMorgan, I think I'm going to take your advice & break up with Angela & Paul and go with a bigger, higher quality packet like Tom's. Also, I recently bought the SEO Link Dominater so I'm going to use that to speed up the backlinking process.

I'm going ping them manually for now, and we'll see how that goes. I've just spent a lot of money on different SEO related programs and trying to hold off on buying anything else for now. I know I'm going to have to get it eventually though.

Thanks again for answering my question!

I am a big fan of Link Dominator. When it comes down to it you have to figure out how much your time is worth and I couldn't imagine trying to put up links without a semi-automation tool.

I think you will be very pleased with the WSO that Terry and I spent a long time putting together. In addition, as Jason mentioned, Terry and I are always around to answer questions or to give feedback.

One way to get your backlinks found by google is to ping them. Use PingDevice

You ping multiple URLs at the same time there!

Thanks for that! I'll definitly use that. I've hear people using pink-o-matic, but I thought that was just for blogs (ping new blog posts). Do you use it to boost backlinks?

If you change your mind, backlink booster is well worth your time. It now has an bulk import and drip feed option so I just imported 1500 links and it is dripfeeding them out for me hands free.

As for free, i'm tried many bulk pingers and they all s*cked. Pingler.com is the best of the 1 by 1 pinging solutions.

I would also set up a ping.fm account. If you send one note/tweet out through ping.fm, it will distribute it to twitter and about 45 other places for you.

manually add the backlinks each day to about 5 different places and then ping the url of where you left the link using pingomatic.com.

Remember to vary up the anchor text.

Add about 50-100 links for an easy search term and your golden.

Outsource if you want to leverage other peoples time and build your business faster, but for now you can just do it all yourself.

Oh i should also mention that you shouldn't add all the links in one day. Spread it out over 10-20 days by adding only about 5 links per day. Otherwise you may get penalized if your site is brand new.

If you are promoting an article or something then it doesn't matter

In my experience this just isn't true. I routinely average 100/links per day for new domains and they rank well and fast and continue to rank well.

The best way to give the backlink some real power and juice is to shoot hundreds of links at it, ping it, and bookmark it. Let's say you have 1 profile link, you can make it 10x more powerful by doing this:

    - 100 Social Bookmarks
    - 100 Pings
    - 100 Blog Comments

Now I'm sure you're thinking that would be way to much work for each and every link, and I would agree with you. Let me introduce you to the world of software ;-)

In all seriousness, use this technique and you can outrank old aged websites very quickly because you'll be able to literally manufacture high quality links on demand.

Most people stop at building the initial link. Some people go a step further and ping it or bookmark it. The next level is building massive links to the page that links to your main website. Try this out and get speedy rankings!

It is amusing when somebody asks a question and all of the replies have nothing to do with the question asked.

Only thing I can add is create a link-dump someplace that is crawled often. Find a nice web 2.0 property and drop links to your backlinks there.

Dump Angela and Paul and get onboard with Terry Kyle and Tom Goodwin (the guy who gave you a real answer) and you'll get all the backlinks and answers you need. Michael Anthony would be another good option.

Why... those guys offer better services and they are active on the forum and helpful.

You shouldn't need to buy much of anything for SEO work, the information is out there and it's free. Buying tools or backlink lists to make your life easier is a different story.

A lot of people try to make SEO way more complicated then it really is.

Get your on-site seo tight and then backlink your site... that is what it always comes down too.

Yeah, there are a million-in-one ways to do it but no matter what anybody says it always comes back to "Get your on-site seo tight and then backlink your site" <-- I just quoted myself, that is so cool

    Be careful of pinging links.

It may work if you build links slow, but if you want to start getting into IM big time, you're going to want to build links fast.

I build 200-300 links per day on some of my sites. If I pinged them all, it would look very suspicious, but since google slowly discovers them over time, it's all legit.

I would recommend backlink energizer to get this done.

Just make sure you have a server that can run cron jobs on a regular basis without melting or exploding.

Hi everybody. I'm new to internet marketing and I actually just registered for this forum.
I've heard a lot about Tom Goodwin and was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can get his link building system? Also I saw a couple people talk about link building software, what software seems to be the best? Thanks for your replies

I use to work backlink booster, it works nicely. I no longer use it for obvious reasons now, but the easiest almost hands-free way will be to use a service like Xrumer. It's just VERY easy.

There's a good service called MegaLinkBlaster, consider it.

Twitter is a great way, tweets are indexed really fast.

But, I discovered that google hates to index profile pages and the success rate is very low, I'd advice to get fewer links from content pages.
