Hello everyone,

I am new at here. I heard very much about a work 'Social Bookmarking' from so many people. Can anyone tell me about this word in detail. I am really not aware of even a single thing about it.

    Social bookmarking are just sites that store links for places that you setup. It's much having a favorites list on your browser but instead it would be your internet favorites list and Google camps out at the popular sites...They are great for getting a few backlinks and getting your site indexed into Google fast.

    In addition to what others have said, social bookmarks are just that, "social". Others people can see your bookmarks on many bookmarking sites when they are searching for a subject. The logic is if other people have taken the time to bookmark a site then the content is probably pretty good.
