hey guys,
I have a question that I want the best IMers to answer and please if you are not sure, tell me that.

If I submit the same article to over 300 article directories, would that give me backlinks?
Would that give me an increase in the SERP?

Thanks

Yeah 300 backlinks should give you a boost, it depends how strong your competitors sites are though.
Also Your article may not be accepted by all the directories if it has already been used on another site.

Yes it will help. Personally I use Unique Article Wizard to spin my articles before submitting them, but I think this is not really required.

A good tool for mass submitting articles is: AUTOMATIC ARTICLE SUBMITTER for Elite Article Marketers

I see the price has gone up since I bought it, but it is an one time payment.

Yes, submitting an article through these type of systems works for rankings, but it is important that you do not wait for the magic to happen, but continue to promote your website.

It will help in terms of your traffic as well as back links. It's advisable you take it slowly if you are into SEO.

I agree with Johnben. Because if you do all this at once than may be your energy level for this project loose in future.

the thing is that there is a new tool that is an invite only tool that can get 300+ articles submitted and almost 270+ are guaranteed to be posted so I wanted to know how well it would be to post 300 articles on a keyword for which the top competitor has only 50 backlinks.
I will also buy a domain name with the keyword in it, should be too tough? would it ?

I also have used Unique Article Wizard and have gotten good results with backlinks. Just make sure if you use the "wizard" you learn how to create unique titles and resource boxes so the articles don't appear to be duplicate content.

I cannot just sit and put unique content on each site so I think I'll try and submit 1 unique article to all 300+ directories, some will just give me visitors and some may give me a few extra backlinks

Try the Best Spinner out - you can create an article spun at 40% with a single click and very minimal editing. At least spin the title and first paragraph if nothing else. I've had huge success in the SERP's by using a method where I spin my title keyword and anchor to match on each submission. Not everyone agrees but I believe there is better SEO value in spinning the articles.

This is easily done with Free Traffic System. You can set your %keyword1% and %link1% so a title would be like this

      Title
%keyword1% to Increase Your Web Site Traffic

Then in the body of the article you can simply write a sentence and have %link1% anywhere in there.

You can put multiple keywords in your keyword 1 box and as the system posts the article out to blogs it will rotate it. The keyword and anchor text will be spun and they will always match.

Hey Sharma don't submit 1 article to the directories without spinning it! Having a link in duplicate content is a waste of time, those links will be devalued and won't boost your ranking at all...

I thought having dupe content on the same site is a waste of time

Not if it helps your users to get around your website easier - or helps you on the backend.

But you are correct in that the search engines will not give your site any extra juice, or rank you twice for a duplicate page.

There is no penalty, by the way,

Duplicate content is very misunderstood. Firstly because when you talk about dup content you may be talking about multiple instances of the same content on your own site or you may be talking about submitting the same piece of content to multiple sites.

Secondly when you say having dup content on your own site is bad (which it is) people say no it's not as Google themselves have stated that there is no penalty. Which is true, however there is an indirect penalty so to speak where PageRank is distributed across any duplicates meaning your pages are not going to rank as well as they could be. This is a really common issue, if not the most common issue in regards to SEO and I have seen huge improvements (mostly on large sites) from simply eliminating duplicates.

Distributing the same article to multiple sites in my opinion is not going to be anywhere near as beneficial as submitting unique articles. I'd rather hand pick the ten best ones, and they are not hard to find if you do a search in this forum, and focus on just those.

I believe you will get juice from a few of the article directories you use, however I believe there is a point where the juice will simply run dry. I don't think that after they see the same content more than 100 times (just an arbitrary number) that they will bother giving you credit because it looks like article spam.

The search engines know that article directories are article dirctories.

That being said, syndication and republication IS alive and well. The thing is that internet users and webmasters don't syndicate/republish ONLY to article directories, article spammers do.

What I suggest instead is to submit to a much smaller amount of article directories, the ones that are powerful for your niche. Then use other types of sites out there to your advantage...sites that people would naturally syndicate, or brag about.

There are social networks out there aplenty, there are social bookmarking sites galore, there are blogs that accept expert content, RSS sites, niche-related authority sites, video sites, etc...

When your backlinking campaigns look natural, things are cool. But when all you have is 300 links coming in from nothing but article directories, I believe you will only gain a certain (probably low) amount of juice.

    Good luck!

I would say it would help to a degree, but the duplicate content issue arises as far as what article will be in the search engines result. Now the search engine reading the back link, I feel it would help there and in the directories themselves as far as members of the said directory clicking you link in the bio.

Unfortunately nowadays google has devaluated many article directories. The reason is that most of them host the same content (duplicated across hundreds of sites). So, even if you post a unique article in each directory, most of them will not be indexed because if a domain has many duplicated pages, then even the original ones will not be valued...
