What to use for adsense?

Hi,

I was just wondering if I could use web 2.0 properties for adsense. Will they be profitable or should I just buy domain names?

Also, which web 2.0 property is best for adsense?

Thanks,
Josh

  • Hi,
In my opinion is better to buy domain.
  • If you already have an active account, you can use blogger.. but for application, use tld...
  • If you use your own domain you have full control with what you do with it at any time
also to match your content to your adsense or should I say that the other way round. lol

    • The only real web 2.0 you can do for adsense is blogs.
And it must be your blog, via blogger (free) or paid.

Squidoo, which I highly recommend, shares their adsense
revenue. I got quite a nice chunk last month, highest ever
for me. I will digress and say that if you are not using squidoo,
you are missing out on an easy system.

Like stated above, blogger allows you to apply and add your
own adsense right out of the box. However, I think the waiting
time for approval is getting longer for some.

Buy a domain, but still use web 2.0 to funnel traffic.

  • Yes I also agree it is better to buy your own domain because of one good reason - it is very important to have your keyword in the domain.
  • Thanks for your replies guys, I am currently using bloggers and some of my domains.
