Has anyone noticed a high % of PSAs on their Niche Websites ?

Is Google doing something new here ?

A friend of mine said 1 page sites are being ignored by Google. Is it true ?

Is your site new? If its a few hours old then the AdSense bot maybe trying to figure out the theme of your site.

In most cases it may be becuase your site doesn;t have many if not any advertisers based around your keyword. I personally havent noticed this as my sites are VERY targetted. If you haven't already then you may want to try tweaking the title, and content a little. Oh and you can also use the adsense html tag which tells Google which part of the content you want it to look at.

    hope that helps

This same exact thing happened to me with my new site. It has only one page with more than 600 words article. I have done a good on page SEO. And luckily I got indexed in less than one hour and my page was at #5 spot But when I check my page after one hour, there is only PSA.

According to adsense help, it takes sometime before your page gets relevant ads and it also says that the relevance increase with time. But what puzzled me with my case is that I saw some adds which were somehow relevant to the content on my page just before I got indexed. And the ads gone after I got indexed. wired:confused:

I have found it takes anywhere from a few hours to a few days for the ads to start being relevant.

Another possibility - check your Adsense admin page. Google is starting to require you to verify certain things like your phone number. If they require info from you they will just post psa's until you give them the info.

I am fully verified so that isn't the problem.

Further this is happening with a site that is a few weeks old. It was showing ads before but now all of the sudden just PSA. So age isn't a problem either.

It was fine last week but now just PSA and this is on a few sites, not just 1. They are all a few weeks old and were showing ads before, but now just PSA.

Not just happening to me either, but also my friend so it isn't my account. It seems to be sites with 1 page or low content which is leading us to believe Google has done something in an effort to weed out these 1 page micro sites.

My new site is going through this. Sometimes it shows targetted ads, then PSA. I'm not sure what's happening. It just got indexed yesterday, but it showed targetted ads before it got indexed, so I'm not sure what's going on.

This may be a littel off topic.....How long did it take for your website to get indexed. My website got indexed the first day after bookmarking my homepage on digg but it got de-indexed the following day and never got indexed till now.
