First Google Sniper Site

I just came up with my first Google Sniper site in the trading niche. My goal is to make it to the top of the search results for the search term trading pro system review. I littered affiliate links all over the site and even made a promotional bonus offer for readers who sign up through my site as an affiliate. Let me know what you think!

  • Yeah this should be an easy enough site to get to the top.

The site needs to captivate the person a little more in my opinion.

However, this is a great first attempt! Just make sure your doing your keyword

research otherwise you could be wasting your time! Saying that I have not looked

into the daily searches. It is a very good niche in terms of sales, just make sure you

keep adding some content and with revie sites you need to build constantly build

backlinks as your competing against other marketers.
  • You went above and beyond for a sniper site, that's way more content than most snipers usually use. Good job. A few things I would change:

    1) Switch from the "Static Page" option to the "Blog Posts" option for your landing page. You want your review to be the first thing they see. Every extra click your prospect has to make is a potential lost sale.

    2) Build links using the anchor text "trading pro system review" to both your homepage as well as the actual review post itself. If you go about 60% home page, 40% review page you can get a double listing (AKA an indented listing) in Google.

    3) Cloak your affiliate links. There is a free plugin called GoCodes for Wordpress, use that to make your affiliate links a little less intimidating to people unfamiliar with clickbank urls. Try something like tradingprosystemreview.net/go/TradingProSystem.

    4) Speaking of affiliate links, you've got a ton of them in there, but you're placing them in a way that the reader is going to be in "browsing mode" when they get their first glimpse of the product. Instead, try placing a bolded paragraph at the end of each article saying something like "Like this article? It's just a taste of what you'll find in the Trading Pro System. Click here to become a trading pro!"... Kind of a lame example, but I hope you get what I mean. You want to dangle their desired key outcome in front of them so that they hit the link with the right mindset.

    5) You want to hit 1st on Google right? And if you took the advice in number 4, now you've got all those keyword blurbs sitting around collecting dust since they're no longer affiliate links... Hmm, how can we make use of those? How about some internal linking? Go ahead and link some of those instances of "Trading System Pro" to other pages on your site that contain that phrase in the title. Watch your SERPs increase. Google likes it when you tell them what phrases to rank you for.

    6) That's a lovely theme. Problem is, it doesn't show titles. The only H1 text you have on there is your blog title, which means that google thinks that every page on your site has the same title. Go into the "Edit Posts" section of your blog, and add your post title in H1 tags to the top of each post.

    7) There are 2 EzineArticles in 1st position for your keyword with no links. Rewrite your review, submit it to Ezine, build 10 or 15 backlinks, and you can net yourself another spot on Google, and maybe a bit of free traffic too. If you're feeling particularly froggy, write a second article (maybe something like "Free Trading Pro System Review - A Quick Followup") and build some links to that too. There's not much better than occupying the top 4 spots on Google...

    8) ... Aside from maybe netting yourself some YouTube traffic and a potential "video results" listiing on Google. Watch this series of videos, grab a mic, and bang out a video. Again, build a few backlinks (sensing a theme here yet?) and watch your video steadily pour converting traffic to your review page.

Despite Google Sniper's insistence on not needing backlinks, they make up a good percentage of what decides search engine results. If nothing else, they allow you to compete in more competitive markets, let you be a little bit less thorough with your keyword research, and secure your position against the lazier snipers who don't build them.

... And I'm spent. Hope that helps. Cheers.

    • Thanks for the tips! I definitely am going to use that link cloaking plugin you recommended to me as it works fine for my site and will more than likely increase my hops and reduce skepticism a bit for my visitors. As far as the other stuff goes, I'll put as much of that to work as I can understand or feel is necessary.

    • Hi Chris thanks for your information, it's really help me! thanks again
  • You should NEVER reveal your income sites. Now, what if someone else here on WF, finds a lucrative opportunity, and outranks you only?

    My 2 cents.

    • Do you not use Gizmoko.com to generate income?

Regardless, revealing your income sites is rarely a big deal. If you're at all serious about keeping your rankings, you'll continue to build backlinks continuously. If the site is lucrative, you can afford to outsource that part, and it becomes strictly hands-off.

This is doubly true when it comes to review sites. 90% of the time the keyword is "product name review". It's not like that's some kind of super-secret keyword tech that only an elite few know about. Everyone is going to be gunning for that keyword because review pages convert, plain and simple. If he gets even 1 serious competitor from posting this thread I will be beyond shocked.

Oh, and just to put my money where my mouth is, catfish bait recipes - there's one of my "easy win" sites free of charge. Go ahead and compete with me, you won't win

    • I am not afraid of a little bit of competition, to be honest with you. Some of the really untapped niches I've been looking at I probably wouldn't reveal, but since I have such a strong, easy keyword for ranking high on Google with this one, go ahead and compete with me if you want. You won't win.

For those that are, tradingprosystemreview.com is also taken. And I will be competing against you with that site as well.
    • Like it works anyway. I'm angry with Google Sniper. My 2 cents.

  • I have been sitting on the fence as far as making the decision to buying Google Sniper is concerned as I am a newbie to IM and Affiliate Marketing.

Just wanted to know if this is the first website you have made? Looks great and good luck
  • Are you wanting to snipe IM products, or other obscure niches?

Sniping IM products is a bit more complicated to dominate google and make cash now adays. The rules are changing all the time. What worked 5 months ago has changed.

You can spend a ton of time and money sniping a $77 clickbank product...and make $100 for the month.

    There are better methods.

    • This is pretty much spot on. If you want to really succeed with Google Sniper, you either want fairly obscure niche products on clickbank, or even better, physical products or phrases that lend themselves well to CPA or adsense.

The sniper method still works decently if you're one of the first 3 people to catch on to a new product launch, but you won't be able to compete with the authority sites for the bigger launches most of the time.

  • Im gonna use the google sniper method in Holland as the competition is very low.

Gsniper inst promoting articles etc right becuase we dont have sites like that in Holland maybe we do but im unfermuliar with them.

Plus we dont need backlinging right??
    • [1] reply
    • Adriano: George Brown recommends doing a minimal amount of backlinking just to get Google's attention and allow them to know you are a real website and not just a random schmuck, but that's it. All the hard work should be done by SEO and keyword targeted domain names that target a specific niche with relevant content.
      • [2] replies
  • The Gsniper system may work well with smaller niches, but the long and short of it all is you will need to build backlinks. Fresh regular content is always a must otherwise you will slip away.

George also refers to "enhancing the presence" of your Gsniper sites by building backlinks....and he does it too!!!

    Content and backlinks
    Content and backlinks
    Content and backlinks

Do you see a pattern here?

Are you using Brown's method? if so, did you checked out the number and quality of your competitors? I have been using Keyword Elite and it has helped me a lot.

  • its a nice looking site.

    is it a wordpress site?

im just wondering how long did it take you to set up that site. im new to IM by the way.
    • [1] reply
    • Took me several hours plus the time it took to do keyword research and register a good domain. All in all it's about a day's worth of work and I plan on updating it a few times so if it generates me any cash flow over time, it was well worth it.
  • i was about to send you a PM but ive seen that you only have 25posts.

anyway, how were you able to do that in several hours? im assuming that you already had those articles before you start making that site.
    • [1] reply
    • No, I didn't. I included that in the amount of time it took me to build the site. Here's a breakdown of the amount of time it took me to complete the whole site:

Keyword and product research: one hour
Setting up domain name and installing wordpress: 30 minutes
      Writing Articles: 3 hours
Setting up wordpress theme: 30 minutes
      Uploading content: 1 hour
Editing and polishing site: 30 minutes
Creating backlinks on ezinearticles.com: 30 minutes

So pound for pound it took me about 7 or 8 hours to complete the entire site, may still need some keyword editing and most definitely more backlinks, but it's pretty simple when you know exactly what your aim is and have a set of steps and rules to follow with a project.

  • Forgive me for being a bit picky and I'm not saying you won't rank at number 1 but in the sniper manual George says you should pick keywords with less than 7500 competing pages in quotes and the most he might go to is about 12,000. The term "trading pro system review" has 36,000, I checked, That's 3 times his maximum. Also it only has a global search volume of 140 searches per month as opposed to the minimum of 2,000 suggested in the google sniper manual . I think many of the warriors above are right in the fact that you'll need some backlinks to rank for this one but even if you do get to number 1 is it worth it for 140 searches per month.

I'm not trying to burst your bubble, just give you some constructive advice for any future sniper sites you may build.

    • Here's the thing. This product recently exploded in gravity about a week or two ago. And by exploded, I mean went from single digits to triple digits within a a few days, according to cbengine.com. Any data Google has about monthly search volume is going to be skewed by this fact. I'm trying to be the first to enter the market as it becomes ripe.

As far as the 36,000 phrase results, I agree and normally wouldn't break that rule if not for the fact that all my competition for the first page consists of forum posts and non authority sites. Not that hard to beat, per George Brown.

Going first is the key when it comes to sniper sites in my opinion.

  • The guy that owns the Trading Pro System sold resell rights to the product last month. I bought resell rights and have been trying to get sales and haven't had any luck. I'm a noob and don't know google sniper program so I'm no competition. In fact I'd like to be able to get out from underneath it and start with the basics to learn IM.
  • Personally, I've proven how effective google sniper is from the moment I bought it. Ive used it for several clients and they're all happy now
  • Kiran Ali

I found google sniper as a good all round entry into really untapped sub niches. The basis of the program is very simple. My first sniper site was making 1 sale a week after about 2 months. I found that taking the sniper style site as a foundation, and using free information from the warrior forum made sites considerably more successful in larger markets. I highly recommend it as somewhere to start. To someone unfamiliar with wordpress, basic optimisation and keyword research it is a super place to start creating. After that, invest any money made into good tools such as Market samurai, watch all their tutorials, throw in some good article marketing, create lists and backlink and get the ball really rolling. It takes time, and the work load will increase, but soon you'll find your enhanced sniper sites will pay for their own outsourcing.

As for revealing your sites, surely your warrior forum signature us a good give away as to where people (not all) are placing their efforts
  • Did you make any money on this sniper site?
  • I have my first Google Sniper site up too. Not working - on page 22.
Losing hope - feeling scammed. You're site looks good, what page are you on Google? Any insight would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Holly

  • I've noticed that in the picture at the bottom of the site you'll have an ugly clickbank affiliate link. Use Gocodes to change to a more inviting link.
  • wait a second... that keyword trading pro system review gets no searches...

    210 searches a month.

    thats waaaay too low.

    • Bit of a Noob on the Sniper stuff, more used to working with standard websites. But here`s the thing, I used Google Sniper methods and found a niche with 130,000 searches per month, and only 3,500 direct competition, none of which are particularly strong as such. I have the domain which matches that actual keyword, so now, would you guys run that as a Sniper/Review/Affiliate type site (the product would be physical rather than downloadable) or would you take the opportunity to run it as a mainstream website (I have the chance to do that with this particular product). Sorry I have not mentioned the niche or the site or the domain name, but pretty sure you would understand why!

I am inclined to run a mainstream website rather that the other way, but not sure if thats just because of my background in this field.
