Conversion Tracking Screwed up?

Anyone else noticing this? I have conversion tracking set up for sales but I've made 0 sales in 5 days but am being told that I have 4-9 conversion each day?

What's up? Is it a "me" issue or is it google's conversion tracking?

  • It's probably you. The code must be placed on only on one page: the page people get to after making a payment ("thank you for your purchase" confirmation page). If you track when people fill in a form, same thing: you have (or should have) a similar page that is reached only when information is submitted and that's where you put the code.

    • Lucid,
Thanks. Is there a way,on the content network, to put greater emphasis on sites? I've gone into my "exclusions" and made my default bid on certain sites higher. Is that the only way?

    Yes. Don't use keywords.

    • Don't use keywords? Oh you mean just prune them so they'll be more likely to show up on certain site?
