Yeah I'm guessing they probably would be because if google sees that a new site has like a ton of pr5-7 backlinks then it looks really suspicious. This is a great way to get indexed

It's submitting the site to sites like this:

      Sitemap page 1000

Not sure if all the links are on pages like this, but I just submitted a domain I've been mostly just sitting on to try it. I'll check a few other links.

John, I can't really say if it's doing anything since it was just submitted, but here's some of the sites my test domain was supposedly submitted to:

    alexa.com
    quantcast.com
    siteadvisor.cn
    cubestat.com
    aboutdomain.org
    statbrain.com

It also lists several sites twice, so who knows how many sites it's really submitting to?

EDIT: Dang James, I wish I'd have known you were doing that, I'd have spared myself the bother! I think you need to put me on speed dial.

      LOL .. Yeah ...

To be honest I have a "Domain Indexer" which is not public but it does not use any strange non-US sites that could be questionable.

I have not added it to AP yet but it will be soon as I add in the auto social posting soon..

A domain indexer is to help notify sites of your domain name and it has NOTHING to do with backlinks. Basically the same thing a "Ping" does when you ping your blog or smething...

This sounds a bit risky to me, I certainly wouldn't submit to a site like this.

I thought i would chime in on this thread since this is referring to my site.

The main purpose is to get you indexed fast and from all of the threads im reading about my site people are sometimes seeing their sites indexed within an hour or so of submitting. I'm also reading that the site submitted is moving up a page+ everyday and that's probably happening to the people who have great on site SEO.

What the site does when you click submit is ping many other sites with your url already filled in and this causes the sites to create a new page with your link on it. Now, not all the sites it submits to gives you a link, some do just give you a dead text link that can't be clicked and SEO pros knows what this will do for your site (it's positive).
For Every submission or "ping" the script will wait 3 seconds tops then move on. This is why when you visit some of the urls there is no site there due to that site going under.
For some reason there is a lot of Chinese alexa type sites and it seems the usa as very little. My guess would be these sites act as little non-government-controlled search engines for the Chinese people since the Chinese government heavily controls the internet over there.
And yes on page 1 & 8 about 20 urls repeat.

You have to be VERY careful with getting that many back links all at one time. Google is smart, they don't necessarily look at overall back links but also look at how you get the links.

If you were to do 10 links a day for 60 days, that looks natural. If you get 600+ back links in an hour your site may shoot to the top of the engines because they may think its a "breaking story" BUT... BUT they will be looking for another 600+ links the next hour.

SO, if you want to add 600+ links over the course of a day, be prepared to add 600+ links tomorrow otherwise you look like your spamming. Remember Google's Mission Statement "Don't be evil" Look like your not spamming... look natural.

This is totally 100% wrong ... It is very normal to get 600 links in one day. Besides that google has no way to know how, when, or why you got those links. Not even the all mighty google can monitor billions of sites 24/7/365 .. Sorry impossible.

I build 1,000's of links in one day and never had a problem yet.. 3.5 Million Bookmarks in a year and not once a problem with google.

Google can't monitor how many links there are between sites? How do you think PageRank is calculated? How can they calculate the authority/ Link Juice/ PageRank transferred from site to site, without tracking the links between sites.

If you have generated an abnormally high number of links at one time, had a positive response, without any drop in ranking later, than maybe we can argue that point. But, I still believe that Google does track your links and it can seem spammy generating 1,000s of links one day and only a few the next.

If you are generating 500 - 1,000 each day than that may not be considered spam, even if the they steadily decrease overtime.

It is impossible for google or anyone else to monitor billions of sites every single second.. Sorry not even evil google has that much power.

I have built 1,000's in one day and then none the next, this is very very natural and yes I have top listings and so do many of my customers and authors.

I have done over 3.5 Million Bookmarks in a year, that averages out to 9,000+ a day and I have till yet to see any type of google penalty.

Back to the topic of this thread though, I warn people not to use that site at all, stay away.

You have proof of this ?? Please do not give out that kind of advice without something to back it up.

Did you ever think some sites do not like to be forced into taking your URL ?? Maybe these sites will report the domain for spamming and thus there goes your listings..

Rubbish! If that was the case it could be used as a malicious tool to hurt peoples rankings.

Autobacklinking for indexing is nothing new, never seen it hurt any sites. It's not necessary either though. Only reason you should have trouble geting sites indexed is if it is a large site with scraped content, otherwise just throw some decent backlinks at site and let it get crawled.

I know I said it may seem "spammy" but I don't want anyone to get that confused with any search engines banning you or delisting you. I don't believe that they would ever do that. Because if they were to take actions like that, believe me, people would do that to their competitors to get them banned... Just wanted to clarify that.

I dont know if I believe that there is anything that is done offline that could NEGATIVELY effect your site, because it could be used to destroy your competition.

I used the "tool" because I figured it would be cool to try out, hoping that it would get me indexed faster then I normally do. As for me sending you my sites url, thanks but no thanks. It is not really that bug of a deal. The site was not that important but I will say this. I have used similar methods of getting indexed in the past with no problems, now I try this one and my site is nowhere to be found?

If your site or "tool" for getting indexed quick works as advertised then why are you offering to see what went wrong? Rather what could've went wrong with using this that you think you would be able to fix? Somethin ain't right here...

Wow Nice! I Got Indexed in 30 minutes with this! I don't think this is a way to get your sites going up the SERPS but it does get your site indexed relatively quickly.

Good thing I didn't try this on a money site.
The reason why is because many sits reject the "auto ping" such as about.org and many others, yeah I also tested it with a dummy site. I fully know what a domain indexer is because I have one but it does not "ping" these non-US sites that you have no idea who they are or what they plan to do with your domain name.

@Anyone That Wishes To Read : People need to wake up and realize that not everybody online is honest and just like email harvesters there are also domain harvesters out there that will gather the domain names, sift through them to find the semi-popular ones, then sift again to locate the open source coded ones (joomla, wordpress, etc) and then make a list of sites to be hacked.

I have given my opinion and my warnings on this, thing this will be my last post on this thread though ...

Wow James, how do you manage to do about 9000 bookmarks a day and still
get other stuff done? Do you use any automation tools?

If yes, I don't even bother asking you which one because I know you and I am
pretty sure that you use your own stuff.

Yes I use automation (partially) and yes it is my own tool... Some I actually do manually. I have 3 computers going with 4 or 5 browsers (not windows but browsers) going at the same time and I do a great deal of multi-tasking ...lol

Yeah, I am not too thrilled about the "survey" he requires you to fill out on the automated social bookmarks portion of this site--doesn't even work.

I think I'd be careful with all the backlinks. You do too many you might get slapped.

Well then, if that is the case, I'd better use this with all my competitors' websites and get them slapped.

Getting indexed fast is fine....but....using a tool like this doesn't appeal to me. I'll just wait the extra 4 days to get it indexed without this tool. Oh no....and extra 4 days!!

more than 60 percent are page rank 0 when it comes to this type of software. There is another 30 percent pr1-2 and the 10 percent left over is 3-8 which is a few only.

I think the idea behind this is not so much to shoot your main money pages but any backlinks that you have created recently. As you all know, it can take time for your backlinks to get picked up and indexed and this just to help them along...allegedly..

If I were to use this, it would be for any backlinks that I need to get indexed quickly and would never submit my main sites..that's just my personal preference.
