Ever since I started to research internet marketing, 90% of the time people say PPc is to expensive, and it only getting worst, that Google hates the little guy. I'm way to scared to even try PPC at this point, should I be?

I spent ages trying to make it work encouraged by people who told me their stats so I said it just takes a little time and I'll do it too. The big search engine, mentioning no names, is just more anti than it was when these guys started. Whether PPC is dead I don't know. It's a good deal more tricky than earlier PPC marketers had to deal with

Old school ghetto affiliate marketing-based ppc is MUCH harder to do than it was.

Selling physical products via PPC is arguably easier than it was.

If you want to learn one, i'd say learn SEO before you learn PPC.

It's really far from being dead. It's just dead
if you are thinking about promoting bad products
like scammy ebooks, shady CPA offers and so on ..

It's also dead if you are thinking about making a
page with no real content and its main purpose is
to drive visitors away to your affiliate links.

Adwords still makes me quite a lot of money ...

Dead? Far from it. As long as there are products and services to sell, there is a need to advertise and PPC is the most efficient way I know of.

Having used Adwords since the beginning, I wouldn't say it's trickier or harder. Sure, there are new rules but simply follow them. The basics of PPC advertising haven't changed at all.

Do your research before starting would be my best advice. Also, PPC and SEO should complement each other.

It is not dead but it is just hard to play under their rule. Sometime you might get your account got banned for no valid reason or something you don't even know why.

and in the last years, many of the top adword users got banned for unknown reasons.

Google runs the biggest PPC in the universe.

Google has $25 billion in the bank.

      Yes, PPC is dead.

PPC is definitely not dead, but it's just that the same rules from 2006 to not apply today. It's a constantly evolving place for people advertising, and it just takes continued research to find a way of making it profitable.
