Help Needed with canonical issue?

Hi,

I've a problem, and help with be greatly appreciated.
I launched 2 sites this week. Did the usual stuff, but for some reason for both of the domains the main page (index page) got indexed twice:
mydomain.com & with the www infront of it (can't place links)


I used 2 different approaches.
With the first site I put a canonical tag in the <head> section of every page.

With the second site I used google webmaster tool, and put a verification tag in the <head> section of just the main page. The change the site configuration settings to display as "mydomain.com" without the www

I've never had this issue before with previous sites, the only thing that is different now is the hosting. Using c-class hosting. But both sites are on 1 account.

Both sites consist out of 3 pages, and both the other 2 pages have been indexed fine.

So could this have the do something with the way the folders are structered on my hosting account? Or what could be the problem?

the domains conserning are snel-geld-lenen.org & geld-lenen-zonder-bkr-toetsing.nl

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
