Adsense or Affiliate?

Hi warrior membors,I have a site on electronics(gadgetsmarket.com),I am really confuse:confused: what will be best for my site adsense or affiliate market,becuse some of my friend told me that tech sites have very low ctr,I am using adsens from last three months but i have not earn any good revnue from adsense,Can you please suggest me how can i make money from my tech site?......

  • CTR really comes down to distractions....i would move your top navigation bar to the bottom of the site. Move the archive list to side of the content and out of view from the fold....switch your background to all white and switch your adsense to large retangle with only text above the fold....

  • Yes its true that tech related sites are less CTR in adsense network so better choose for some affiliate network to earn good amount from your blog.

  • You might want to consider joining ebay partners network. That will help open another revenue source by being an ebay affiliate. Clickbank is also another good choice. Keep it up!

  • Try Clickbank, Ebay or Amazon.
  • No two sites are alike, obviously.

    And here is a tip that will help you. It's not which is better... it's what your visitors want!!!

    Think customer. Then think product. Then test. It's very easy to test both.

  • The best thing to do is to test and try out both. Make sure to use different ad formats and move them around your site. Track the CTR and once you have a nice spot keep it there.

    • You might want to also consider thinkgeek.com
      They have a pretty cool selection of gadgets and stuff that people are interested in.
      You have to be a member of commission junction to become an affiliate for them.

  • If adsense isn't working well for you, perhaps you could try Amazon or an electronic's super store like Best Buy. They are in CJ.com
