Are there any sites that show how many searches are done per week/month, etc. for specific keywords?

I'm trying to select keywords for an Adsense campaign, but I don't want to select keywords that nobody searches for.

Are there any sites where I can type in a potential search term, and see how many people search for it? Or if it shows similar search terms that are more frequently searched for?

Yeah you can use the Google Adword Tool....it's free and it shows the monthly search volume, cost per click, etc.
