There's a certain keyword that I stumbled upon that gets around 38,000 searches a day. I think it will be fairly easy for me to get at least to the top 6 on the first page of Google as there's not very much competition.

I've never created a site before solely for the purpose of generating Adsense revenue but with this keyword I want to give it a try. I'll probably throw some Amazon and eBay ads on there too.

So what do you think my revenue would be out of 38,000 searches a day And what would be the best type of site to create for this purpose?

Those 38.000 searches are per day or per month? And is it for the broad match or the exact match ?

There is not any hard and fast rule to measure earning through keyword searching and visitors reaching on sites. Adsense earning depends on ads running on your sites and blogs as well as its PPC prices that advertiser pay for clicking. If you are using high paying keyword then here is much chances of more earning.

        Thanks

nobody can exactly tell you how much you can earn, i have a site which is having CPC $1.59 (GAT data), but up to date, i am receiving not less than $3.40 per click from the site....

My opinion is, dont waste time asking how much you can earn, buy the domain now and start working on it, tell us how much you can earn

Yeah, I don't know how much you could earn from that, but I'd be on top of it immediately! Sounds like a great keyword.

It depends on a lot of things. Are the people that are searching for that keyword in a buying mode, an information searching mode, or just browsing randomly?

Will you get spot 6 or 1? You could make $1/day on spot 6 and $20/day on spot 1, or less than $1 on spot 1. You won't know until you're there.

Who knows? It depends on lots of things.

But for argument's sake, let's say you DO get the no 1 position, then you can expect around 40-45% of those visitors - so approx 15,500 daily visitors.

Then possibly depending on your ad placement and copy you might get 3% of those visitors to click your ads - so around 465 people.

Now it really depends on what you'll get per ad click - could be anything from .01 cent up to $20 or more.

But again for arguement's sake let's assume that you make 10 cents a click. (yes I'm being conservative).

    Thats around $46.50 per day.

But again, really who knows unless you test it.

Not to dishearten you, probably you might have stuck goldmine
But generally there are very few such goldmines left, still if there is you will find some stiff competition out there on the first page, so be ready for it, persistence and hard work pays off in adsense, whatever niche it is.
    All the best dude!
