Google Adwords Keyword Tool & Google Search Based Keyword Tool

Hi.

I am wondering what the difference is between 'Adwords Keyword Tool' and 'Search Based Keyword Tool'. There seems to be big a difference in numbers between the two.

For e.g. for the search in the UK for 'wedding flowers' there is 90,500 monthly exact searches on keyword and 23,000 on search based tool.

Which one is more reliable, if any?

    I use them both.The search tool seems to give you the longer tail keywords and phrases from my observation. I'm not sure which is more reliable,just use them as a gauge or estimate.

      Google is OWNING a lot of people with those tools. Those tools are not meant for SEO. That's not true search done on Google.com. You are relying on useless data, unless you verify them with Adwords impressions!!
